Mac Switchers

Jenn and I have decided that we are going to purchase a Macbook when the time comes for a new computer. I could ramble on and on about why, but the reasons all distill down to one thing. Mac’s just work.
The Cult of Mac blog posted a great little story about the decision to switch from a Windows PC to a Mac. You can read the story here.
What platform do you use, Windows or Mac? Which platform will you buy next?

I grew up on windows. I’m not loyal, I’m not a fan, I’m not even a proponent of windows, I just use it because that is where most of our software investment is currently. I appreciate Macs from afar. Inside I want one, but can’t force myself to take the plunge with all that we have invested on the windows side. eventually I figure we will go there, but for now, we continue on PC. There seems to still be a bit of a price diff. that makes it also a bit difficult to make the move. I know, you get more with a mac, especially for artsy folks like me, but still, the price tag and the transition is hard. maybe I should read the cult blog you posted.
